Kopman Build has been transforming Toronto kitchens for 25 years. From open-concept layout changes in Century homes to full custom kitchen installs in new builds, we deliver kitchens that work beautifully and hold their quality.
A kitchen renovation is one of the highest-visibility investments in your home. It's also one of the most complex — involving structural modifications, electrical and plumbing upgrades, millwork, tiling, countertops, and appliance installation. When something goes wrong in a kitchen renovation, it rarely shows up right away. Kopman Build builds kitchens that work properly the first time, because we manage every trade and every milestone in-house.
Dustin Kopman founded the company in 1999 after growing up working in construction through his family's firm, G& G Enterprise. That hands-on background means every project is managed by someone who understands the craft — not just the sales pitch.

Under-cabinet lighting, task lighting, pot lights, and full electrical panel upgrades where required.
We visit your property, listen to your goals, and document the project in writing — scope, budget, and timeline.

Kitchen renovation costs in Toronto vary significantly by scope: a cosmetic refresh (new countertops, hardware, paint) runs $15,000–$35,000. A mid-range kitchen renovation with new cabinetry and countertops runs $60,000–$110,000. A full custom kitchen with layout changes and premium materials runs $120,000–$250,000+. We give you a detailed estimate before any commitment.
A full kitchen renovation in Toronto typically takes 8–14 weeks once materials are ordered and on-site. Layout changes requiring structural work or permits add 3–6 weeks for permit acquisition. Material lead times (cabinetry especially) can be 6–12 weeks — plan accordingly.
Structural changes (removing walls, moving load-bearing elements), plumbing relocation, and electrical panel upgrades require City of Toronto building permits. A purely cosmetic kitchen update (no structural, no plumbing move) typically does not. We advise on permit requirements at the outset of every project.
